My name is Maceo Lofton and I am the Founder of Aromas de Loft.
While in college, I worked full-time in luxury retail at Saks Fifth Avenue and Barneys New York. It was during this time that I discovered my fascination with fragrances and the power of scents to evoke memories and feelings.
As I delved deeper into the fragrance industry, I noticed a common trend among experts who often labeled scents as either masculine or feminine. This labeling was often done to target a specific gender and increase sales. However, I believed that fragrances should not be limited by gender and that everyone should have access to high-quality scents at fair prices.
After months of research, I found a niche in the industry and decided to create my own brand. My goal was to dissociate the relationship of gender from scents and create longer burn times, add romance to every space, curate soulful fragrances that can't be replicated, and offer luxury hand-wrapping that pays homage to my years in luxury retail.
My brand is all about providing high-quality, luxurious candles at fair prices.
